Tell me why
I prefer to take my coffee with the reeds
Dear reader, I'm overwhelmed by the lessons living under and above the water here at Green Lake. Though I may feel like I'm drowning a bit in my real life, coming here is always somewhat of a buoy. I asked for help on my way here, and I received it. I found it in stillness, in listening, and, as usual, in clearing away the brush. Next week I'll let you in on something else I found. Right now, I'm headed to a client's home that isn't too far from here. Could the universe have more lakeside clients in store for me?
Tell me why I prefer to take my coffee with the reeds and the underwater forests, staring back at the fish, wondering who each other is. It is rare to be looked at head on. In the middle of the lake, floating, this is how I desire to be seen: with curiosity and stillness – a bit of distance, but not too much. The lone blue damselfly approaches, its wings only visible the closer he gets to my face. Today, he hovers long enough to be seen.
That’s all for this week.

What allows you to feel seen? What are your life’s bouys? Can you contemplate the magic in this lily pad image alone?
All my love,
B

What a lovely way to begin my morning! Thank you!
